"Leading airport in Africa" World Travel Awards (7 years running)

Cape Town Airport
Our International Airport is a major gateway into South Africa. The Western Cape is one of the busiest tour and business travel destinations in the country, and our airport effectively satisfies an ever increasing demand from Cape travellers and business delegates around the world.

Cape Town Airport is located 20 kms approx. from the Cape Town city centre. It's the 2nd largest in South Africa and comprises four passenger terminals including a spacious International Arrivals terminal which was opened in 2001, and a new International Departures terminal completed in 2003 capable of handling a million passengers a year.

An extensive airport upgrade is in progress, ahead of the 2010 World Cup and a new departure terminal has been completed.
