Stroll the Promenade at Seapoint Beach Cape Town

Seapoint beach is popular with locals and visitors
Getting here: Bus, sedan taxi, minibus taxi - from Cape Town staion.
Seapoint Beach One of the better ways to start your discovery of the popular Cape Town beaches is with an evening stroll.. You could set off from the lighthouse in Greenpoint and meander through Seapoint along the Promenade, which is a favourite venue for joggers and roller bladers. As you walk, take care. At high tide the waves wash over the Promenade and they catch you by surprise, so don't get drenched!
Seapoint beach
Seapoint is situated between the V&A Waterfont and the upmarket beach resorts of Clifton and Camps Bay. Seapoint's beaches are hidden below the Promenade which fronts a stretch of apartment blocks and a length of green common along the the Sea front. They are small and grimy, with lots of rocks and clumps of seaweed at low tide.
The sea in this area is not suitable or safe enough for swimming - apart from a sheltered tidal pool, but locals and visitors have the option of making use of the recently modernised municipal swimming pool complex on the beach front which is open during the warmer months and which offers plenty of space for family picnics and recreation.
