From
Wikipedia:
The giraffe is the tallest of all land animals. It can reach a height
of 5.5 metres and weigh up to 1360 kg. Its closest relative is the Okapi. Its
tough prehensile tongue and long neck enables it to feed on tree
foliage - mainly Mimosa and the thorns of Acacia.
Adult giraffe are too large to fall prey to most predators but the
young are often victims and have a high
mortality rate.
