Rondebosch is one of the oldest and most exclusive residential suburbs of Cape Town. It is situated about 8km from the Cape Town CBD below the eastern slopes of Table Mountain and is home to the historic presidential residence, the Groote Schuur Estate, and the University of Cape Town. Rondebosch is also an ideal base from which to explore attractions such as Kirstenbosch Gardens, the Groot Constantia wine farm, the False Bay beaches and the Cape Peninsula coastal route.
